Registration Deadline Approaching
JAMB has reminded prospective candidates that registration will close on March 8, 2025, with no plans for an extension. Candidates yet to complete their registration are urged to do so at accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers to avoid missing out.
The registration exercise, which began on February 3, 2025, has seen high turnout, reflecting the growing number of candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions across Nigeria. However, JAMB has confirmed that there will be no extension beyond the deadline.

JAMB Urges Candidates to Prepare Adequately
As the examination approaches, JAMB advises candidates to familiarize themselves with the CBT format, practice with past questions, and thoroughly study the syllabus. The board also warns against examination malpractice, emphasizing that strict security measures will be in place to maintain the integrity of the UTME.
In addition to its advisory, JAMB reassures candidates of a smooth examination process, with improvements in technology and administrative procedures aimed at eliminating technical hitches experienced in previous years.
No Extension, No Second Chances
JAMB officials stress that there will be no extension of the registration deadline, and any candidate who fails to register before March 8, 2025, will not be allowed to sit for this year’s UTME.
As the 52-day countdown continues, candidates are encouraged to make the most of the remaining time and prepare adequately for the examination.
