The UTME mock serves as a pre-examination test conducted annually by JAMB for candidates preparing for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Interested candidates expressed their desire to participate during the initial UTME registration phase. The 2024 mock UTME is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024.
It’s important to note that the mock exam is voluntary and its score is not incorporated into the main exam. Participation is not a prerequisite for the main exam. The primary purpose of the mock examination is to provide candidates with a self-assessment opportunity and familiarize them with the computer-based testing environment. Introduced in 2017, the mock exam aims to offer hands-on experience with the system, particularly for those less familiar with computer usage.
Additionally, the mock exam serves as a testing ground for JAMB to ensure the efficiency of all systems across centers for the main exam. It also aids in preparing the CBT centers, providing insight into how they should manage candidates during the main exam.
Printing for the 2024 UTME mock exam slip has not started. The slip will detail the venue and time of the exam for eligible candidates. We will inform you and send a notification through the Studentclass.net website once the printing of exam slips begins.
