Adamawa Health Tech Michika Admission 2023/2024

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into Adamawa State College of Health Technology, Michika for the 2024/2025 session. The available courses are as follows:

• Environmental Health Technologist (EHT) (ND) Duration: Two (2) Years
• National Diploma Epidemiology & Disease Control (ND) Duration: Two (2) Years
• Pharmacy Technician (PHT) (ND) Duration: Three (3) Years
• HND Environmental Health Technologist (HND) Duration: Two (2) Years
• Health Information Management (HIM) (ND) Duration: Two (2) Years
• Diploma in Computer Science – Duration: Two (2) Years
• Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW, Abridgement) (OND) Duration: Six (6) Months
• Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) Certificate – Duration: Two (2) Years
• Diploma Health Promotion and Education (DHPE) ND Duration: Two (2) Years
• Diploma Nutrition and Dietetics (NUD) (ND) Duration: Two (2) Years
• Diploma in Physiotherapy (ND) Duration: Three (3) Years
• HND Public Health Nursing (HND) Duration: Two (2) Years (For Only Registered Nurses)

Entry Requirement:

All Diploma/National Diploma/Higher National Diploma Programme(s) require five (5) credit passes in Basic Science Subjects in NECO, WAEC, GCE, in not more than two sittings.

For all Certificate Course(s), candidates need four (4) passes, including English Language and Mathematics, plus two Science Subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Health Science), and two passes in any other two Subjects in NECO, WAEC, GCE, GRADE II, or NABTEB, in not more than two (2) sittings.

Note: Holders of Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), Junior Community Health Extension Worker (ICHEW), Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA), Certificate in Health Education (CHE/STIPC), and Pharmacy Assistant Certificate (PAC) meeting the basic requirements for Diploma and possessing One Year Post Qualification Experience can gain admission into the 200 level of the CHEW, MLT, DHPE, and PHT programs.

The online application for the 2024/2025 Academic Session will be open from February 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024, through the College portal http://ascoht.admissions.cloud. Follow the steps below:

1. ACCOUNT ACTIVATION

• Click on “new application.”
• Enter your full name and valid phone number for subsequent communication.

2. LOGIN

• Use your phone number as your username and password to log in.

3. PAYMENT

• Generate RRR and make a payment of (N6,500.00) in any bank of your choice, preferably Zenith Bank or Union Bank.

4. CHOICE OF PROGRAMME

• After payment, log in and select your program of choice from the available list.

5. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Enter not more than two sittings of O’level results. Direct entry applicants should provide the certificate obtained and the institution attended with date.

6. UPLOADING YOUR PASSPORT

• Upload your recent passport photograph in JPEG format.

7. SUBMIT APPLICATION

• Click on “submit” after filling all necessary information.

8. PRINTING OF APPLICATION FORM

• The serial number on your form serves as your application ID and username for login.
