JAMB registers 141,018 candidates, cautions parents to avoid registration centres.

JAMB reports that 141,018 candidates have been registered for the 2024 UTME, as stated in the board’s weekly bulletin. The registration deadline is February 26th, 2024. For registration information, refer to the detailed application guide at this link: JAMB 2024 UTME Registration – Complete, step-by-step application instructions.

Meanwhile, JAMB has issued a cautionary notice, advising parents and guardians to refrain from visiting its various registration centers and engaging in any activities that could disrupt the registration process. The warning follows an incident where a woman was apprehended at a Professional Registration Centre (PRC) attempting to obtain a registration e-PIN for her brother, a violation of JAMB’s regulations. The Board considers such actions a serious breach of the registration process’s ethical standards, posing a potential threat to its integrity.

“The Board emphatically emphasizes that parents and guardians are expressly prohibited from accessing registration and examination centers. Any deviation from this directive may result in sanctions against individuals or groups,” the statement underscores.
