According to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, the deficiencies identified in the accreditation status of these two programmes were largely due to inadequacy in space and are being addressed by the on-going construction of Departmental building for the Anatomy and Morbid Anatomy Department in Sagamu Campus and the construction of six modern studios for the Architecture programme at the lbogun Campus.

He mentioned that with this development, the University has moved from 76% FULL accreditation status of the academic programmes offered in the university as at the time he assumed office in 2017 to 97.2%.
