JAMB has extended the 2024 DE registration deadline to April 11, 2024, to accommodate all candidates.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a two-week extension for the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) registration period. This extension is to ensure that all interested candidates have the opportunity to register. The DE registration process, which began on Wednesday, 28th February 2024, was originally scheduled to end on Thursday, 28th March 2024. However, it will now continue until Thursday, 11th April 2024, following a decision to prolong the registration window by an additional two weeks starting from Wednesday, 28th March 2024.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the registration period for Direct Entry (DE) candidates. This decision was prompted by challenges faced during security screenings, particularly related to fake A-level certificates. JAMB apologizes for any inconvenience caused to prospective DE candidates and assures that the process will be made more user-friendly.

However, JAMB remains committed to preventing candidates with dubiously acquired certificates from benefiting. Candidates whose certificate-issuing institutions have not verified their credentials will not be allowed to register without fulfilling the necessary requirements.

A press conference will be held soon to provide further details to the media.

JAMB extends Direct Entry (DE) registration by two weeks.
